What each piece of work costs
All prices are in South African rand. No VAT is charged, as Kelellon is not registered for VAT.
1. A basic website

What the package covers
- How big is it?
- Up to five pages, or one long page with up to five sections.
- Who supplies the content?
- You send your logo, wording and photographs. We lay them out and tidy the wording.
- How long does it take?
- Live within 10 business days of receiving your content.
- How many rounds of changes?
- Two rounds of changes before the site goes live are included. Later changes are charged by the hour.
- What if I stop the monthly package?
- Use of the website ends. Your domain is transferred to you on request, and your wording and photographs are returned.
2. Once-off setup charges
Charged once, and only if you need them.
Domain registration, first year
Your own web address, registered in your name. Renewals are billed each year at the registrar's price.

Business email setup
Mailboxes on your own domain with Google Workspace or Zoho Mail, the records that keep your mail out of spam folders, and a send and receive test. The provider's subscription is charged at its actual cost.

3. Optional extras for a website
None of these is needed for a basic website. Each is priced separately and can be added at any time. The monthly price covers its database, running costs and support.

Example: a basic website on the monthly package with an AI assistant costs R900 a month, plus R3 500 setup once. Fair use of the AI assistant is up to 1 000 questions a month.
4. Changes
Changes after go-live are quoted first and charged by the hour. There are two rates.

5. Business systems and mobile apps
A system or app gets a fixed price before work starts. The price is based on the standard engineering effort the work needs, at R1 100 an hour, and the quotation shows the full breakdown. A larger build is split into phases, each with its own fixed price. There are three ways to pay.
Once-off licence
Pay the fixed price in two payments: half when you accept the quotation and half at go-live. On a phased build, each phase is paid the same way. Three months of hosting and support are included.
Setup fee plus subscription
A smaller setup fee, then a monthly fee that covers hosting, support, updates and small changes, up to 2 hours a month.
Subscription only
No setup fee and a higher monthly fee, with a 12-month minimum term. Small changes, up to 2 hours a month, are included.

6. AI tools, set up for your business
Tools that we set up under your name. Pay monthly with no setup fee, or buy a once-off licence. A once-off licence includes three months of hosting; after that, hosting is charged monthly as shown, or you host it yourselves.

Good to know
- Is VAT added?
- No. Kelellon is not registered for VAT, so the prices shown are what you pay.
- How do I pay?
- By EFT against an invoice, payable within 7 days. Monthly fees are invoiced at the start of each month.
- Is there a minimum term?
- Monthly website packages run for 12 months and then month to month, with 30 days' written notice to end. Prices are fixed for the first 12 months.
- Who owns what?
- You own your logo, wording, photographs, domain and data. Kelellon keeps ownership of the code and gives you a licence to use it. A once-off licence has no end date.
- What does fair use of AI mean?
- An AI assistant on a website or in a system includes up to 1 000 questions a month. Each AI tool lists its own allowance. Beyond that, the AI provider's actual cost is passed on with no markup, and we tell you before it applies.
- What about personal information?
- A basic website stores no personal information. Before anything that records information is switched on, we sign a data processing agreement with you under POPIA.
- What do other suppliers charge me?
- Domain renewals, email subscriptions, and SMS and WhatsApp messages are passed on at the supplier's actual cost, with no markup.
